TODAY’S WORD FOR YOU, 11-23-15 The Two BUT’S of Solomon

But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.  (Mt 19:30)

Are there ‘BUT’S’ in your life keeping you from trusting and obeying God fully?

It is better to start off bad and end up good than the other way around.  The Biblical case in point is the life of King Solomon who had everything going for him.  He had a good start in a big way, which really meant nothing because of his bad ending, and how he was dethroned by God.  The wisest king of the world’s empire in his time ended up as the most foolish king of all time, who left a poor legacy for the nation of Israel to the present day.  His two ‘BUT’S’:

BUT SOLOMON was building his own house thirteen years, and he finished all his house.”  (1Kings 7:1)

BUT king Solomon (defiantly) loved many foreign women: the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites (1Kings 11:1) . . .He had 700 wives, princesses, and 300 concubines; and his wives turned away his heart from God.” (AMP vs 2-3)
