ARE YOU SAFE IN GOD’S SHEEPFOLD, OR HAVE YOU GONE ASTRAY AND ARE LOST?
Isaiah 53:6 says ‘All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.’
Luke 19:10 tells us ‘For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.’
The ‘Son of man’ is JESUS who said ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.’ John 14:6
HOW MUCH DOES GOD LOVE THOSE WHO HAVE GONE ASTRAY?
For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.
How think ye? If a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray.
Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.’ Mt 18:11-14
GOD CARES FOR YOU AND WANTS TO SAVE YOU!
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John3:16
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 1Peter 5:7

Jesus came because of God’s great love for us. (John 3:16)
Jesus came because God wanted to be with us. (Mt 1:23)
God came in the person of Jesus Christ to save us. (Mt 1:21)
“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” (Mt 1:21)
“I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” (Luke 5:32)
“For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them.” (Luke 9:56)
“For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” (Luke 19:10)
“I come not to judge the world, but to save the world.” (John 12:47)
Why do we need to be saved?
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Ro 3:23)
“For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners” (we inherited our sinful nature from Adam; Ro 5:19)
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Ro 6:23)
“whosoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
How can we be saved?
“if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (Ro 10:9)
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Ro 10:13)
