YESTERDAY I REACHED 40,000 views!!!

You see, I started ‘God’s Enduring Love’ on May 26, 2012.  I didn’t know the first thing about blogging, but Word Press saw me through my ignorance and incompetencies and now my site has been up nearly 4 years since then.  In the beginning what was really tough was being a relic from the pre-computer age, meaning being computer illiterate.  Even till this day the learning is gradual, though I’m moving ahead slowly.  Six months ago I was talked into getting an iPhone so family members can text me and in seconds I could text them back!  So I am also learning how to use the computer features slowly, but surely, mainly with the help of Logan, my youngest grandson (12 y/o) who is proud to show off how smart he is for his Nana.

Logan has several years experience over me with computer education in school plus his gadgetry and computer games he’s grown up with.  All 7 of the grandchildren can tell anyone about the latest upgrades and how to shop on iTunes and the App store.  Of course what helped them is that as babies they were already playing games with the gamut of the mobile devices their little hands could get on.  It is amazing that they just learned how to do stuff without knowing how to read yet.  Even after they acquired reading skills, they still could figure out most anything on their computers without written instructions or a computer manual, a demonstration by a live tutor, etc.

Shortly after I started my ‘miracle’ blog,  in June 2012  I helped my husband with his blog  ‘God’s Hidden Nuggets for the Endtimes’ to post his many Bible lessons based on over 40 years of learning the Bible from the Holy Spirit.   He has really serious teachings, current events relating to last days, etc. and  zoomed ahead of me in viewership.  He hasn’t posted anything new in months now and still has daily hits, doubling my daily averages.  His last post is well read,Warning- Hell is for Real. . .’  I feel happy for him that people are interested in his very provocative writings.

My original intent when I started blogging was to learn how to get a blogsite going for Drgold, my husband’s pen name.  I hadn’t planned to continue mine, but just wanted to learn how to format a blogsite.  However, curiosity got the best of me and I thought I would continue since I enjoy writing as much as Drgold, even though he is a better writer than me.  To this date Drgold has over 65,000 views, and after a hiatus of 10 months, he will soon blog again!

I recalled what a WordPress editor said about blogging, that a 10,000 views minimum per year was a good indicator of a blog’s viability.  This year would be the year to decide whether I would continue writing or  have more time to pursue my other hobbies, art and music.   So I thought.  God has His own plans for my blogsite.

Anyway, this is the point I want to make.  No one who drops in here to my site comes ‘by accident’.  The sheer low numbers tell the story in themselves!   It is God’s Enduring Love that draws anyone to a not so popular site with often unpopular topics, but written for those God has chosen to Himself for His plan and purpose for their lives.   One will never know who reads my blog, whose life is touched by God.  An example was a Hindu man with a photography blogsite who liked to read my posts.  He died of a heart attack a year ago, a week after his last post, and somehow I believe that he reached out to God and God is with the Lord.

SO, I made 40,000 views one month before the 4 year deadline I had set for myself.

I want to THANK ALL OF YOU WHO READ MY BLOG POSTS, whoever you are, wherever you are, whatever reasons you have for visiting my blog, GOD KNOWS.   God has touched the lives of folks from large countries to remote little islands all over the world.  As I continue to write, my hope is to share God’s message of His Enduring Love for us all.   Many have read ‘Why Do People Resist God.’    We can only hope and pray that the resisters will experience God’s love, be blessed with the gift of  Salvation and have a better life than the one they now have.

11 Things God is able to do

Walter Bright

Ephesians 3:20

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us.

The word “Able” is translated from the word dunatos (in turn from dunamai) which refers to the power one has by virtue of inherent ability and resources. “Able” describes that which has sufficient or necessary power, means, skill, or resources to accomplish an objective.

I am completely persuaded that God is Able

God is able to create something out of nothing

God is able from these stones to raise up children.. Matthew 3:9

God is able to make all grace abound to you

God is able to make all grace abound to you… having all-sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8

God is able to deliver

God whom we serve is able to deliver…

GOD’S PROMISES of PROVISIONS for us are LIMITLESS and can be found everywhere in His Word.

When we LOVE GOD, He will comfort us and deliver us from adverse situations; He will answer our prayers; He will honor us with recognition and respect.   God will assure us of long life and reveal more of Himself to us.

Do you want to be the head and not the tail, on top and not on the bottom, esteemed rather than out of God’s favor?  We can have God’s good favor by being on good terms with Him!

Psalm 91:14-16

14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Dear Friends,

I have not forgotten my blog!  I am taking a short hiatus to work on a protracted art project- an oil painting of an Italian street scene.  What a challenge, not having painted buildings and figures ever before!  I study art online and am currently on the 8th of 13 lessons.  There are also my other activities and in addition, I am working on a Bible study on Nehemiah for the women’s group at my church.  I’ll be posting on the study later.  God bless you all!  ~Liz

What Makes Heaven Rejoice?

Beautiful post about the love of God as written by Joe Quatrone, Jr.

From the parables we learn of God’s great love for us!

Joe Quatrone, Jr.

Parable of Lost SheepLuke 15 may be one of the greatest chapters in the entire Bible. It contains three parables about things that were lost and then found. These stories are pictures of how God seeks us and the joy heaven experiences when we are found. Let’s begin reading in verse 1:

Now the tax collectors and “sinners” were all gathering around to hear Jesus. But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.”

There were two different groups present in Jesus’ audience: the religious leaders and the sinners. The Pharisees and teachers of the law had become the enemies of Jesus by this time. They followed Him around looking for a reason to condemn Him. These religious fanatics were so scrupulous in their observance of the law; they would never sit down and eat with “sinners” like tax collectors and common men. The…

It's about CHOICES!

It’s about CHOICES!

“choose you this day whom you will serve…”  (Joshua 24:15)

“choose life that you may live.”  (Deuteronomy 30:19)

BUT He does know the END from the BEGINNING, “declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done…”  (Isa 46:10).  God has a Plan and Purpose for Mankind even as we pray, “Thy kingdom come.  Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”  (Mt 6:10)

When we make a broad generalization such as ‘God is in control’ and follow it with ‘BUT’, it becomes a fallacious statement.  God is not in control when man is given over to his self will and makes good and/or wrong choices for his own benefit or to his detriment.

Such has happened in the case of Christian parents who raised their children to know God and did their best to provide a home for them that honored God and His Word.  Then the roof fell in on them because of a child who became wayward, rebellious, ‘worldly’, deceitful, and finally leaves the comforts of a good home and family.  And for what?  But to join those on the broad road that leads to destruction (Mt 7:13-14) to go with the flow, to follow a lifestyle of the perverse and perverted.

This post is about dealing with homosexual children in our own families who marry their same sex partners.  Same sex marriage is becoming more and more commonplace since the law of the land in America has given homosexuals permission to practice unnatural sex, and demands that the citizens accept the changing face of modern society, like it or not.

For sure, each family will deal with their family members according to their comfort level and spiritual maturity.  Until such a situation hits you in the face, it is difficult to say what the outcome will be regarding our responses and reactions to those relatives who are ‘different’ and go against ‘tradition’.  How to deal with the comments from friends is yet another matter.

This is a serious case for Applied Christianity 101, or putting Biblical principles into practice.  But how can we do this unless we really know what the Bible says on the subject.  I’ve heard it said, “God loves the sinner, but hates his sin.”  This is a truism more than we realize.  God may love the sinner, and hate his sin, BUT the self righteous Christian not only hates the sin, but he hates the sinner as well.  John 3:16 tells us that God loves the WORLD, that means EVERYONE.  Jesus did not hesitate to socialize with sinners and outcasts- embezzlers, thieves, prostitutes, adulterers, lepers (the sick and ugly), murderers, and all unbelievers.  The Bible says He came, “to seek and save the lost”  (Luke 19:10); Jesus didn’t come for the righteous, but to call the sinners to repentance (Luke 5:32) and show them the way to heaven (John 14:1-4).

We are ALL SINNERS saved by the grace of God.  There are two kinds of sinners, those who are the saved sinners, and those who are (yet) unsaved sinners.  The apostle Paul said he was the worst sinner of all, the chief of sinners, “…that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.”  (1Tim 1:15)

May we be mindful to extend God’s mercy and grace to our wayward family members.  And while we’re at it, extend this same attitude to not only homosexuals, but also to everyone in the LGBT community; and the homeless, lonely, disabled; those with challenges and disorders, whatever problems or burdens these folks may have or are going through.  As Thanksgiving and Christmas approach, let it not be the only seasons or reasons for showing some kindness and charity to others, but let it be becoming of us to display Christian character to others ALL the time, beginning with our own families.

So I have no answers for anyone, just this word:  Don’t waste your tears anymore, but with your tears, PRAY for your son or daughter, grandchildren, nieces or nephews, and others by their name, bringing them before God’s throne of Grace and Mercy and intercede for their salvation.   May God hear our prayers and answer them, be merciful to our homosexual relatives and SAVE THEIR SOULS.

If you believe the Bible is God’s Holy Word, you will do this.  Heaven is a real place, and so is Hell.  Jude, half-brother of Jesus, said to ‘pull them out of the fire!’

But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,

Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

And of some have compassion, making a difference:

And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.  (Jude 1:20-23)

The Bible tells us in Psalms 119:9-11:

Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.

With my whole heart have I sought thee:  O let me not wander from thy commandments.

Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

The Bible is our compass when we have lost our spiritual  bearing, when we don’t know where true north is,  when we need a map to see where we are and where we’re headed:

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.                (Psalms 119:105)

Don’t wait another moment; deal with your situation TODAY and get yourself right with God.

Seek ye the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near:  (Isa 55:6)

“behold, NOW is the accepted time; behold, NOW is the day of salvation.” (2Cor 6:2)

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  (1John 1:9)

King David after committing adultery with Bathsheba and having her husband Uriah killed (2 Sam 11), David repented and prayed this prayer:

Psalm 51:10-17

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.

14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.

15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.

16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.

17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

Jer 3:22 Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings.   (let us say) Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art the Lord our God.

We must acknowledge that we have sinned against God and His Word, THEN with help of the Holy Spirit:

Return back to God by

Repenting of specific sins of commission and omission;

Receive forgiveness and

Reconciliation unto God once again,

Renewal of our spirit and be

Restored unto ‘the joy of our salvation’!

REJOICE!  Praise God!

People of The World Awake! Wake Up!!! Before it’s Too Late! – A Letter to Unbelievers

Every Christian should read this and know the seriousness of the hour we’re living in!  But this is  written ESPECIALLY for those of you who have not yet committed your life to God!   Where will you spend eternity?!  JESUS IS COMING and time is running out to prepare for His Return!!!

End Time Bible Prophecy

Commentary By: Gordon King

WAKE UP WORLD!  How long shall you slumber?  How long will you continue to hide in the darkness?  This letter is for the unbelievers in Jesus Christ, the only true Lord and Savior of the world.  God is leading me to write this letter to all who do not believe in him.

JESUS is the only way to heaven regardless of what others tell you, including Oprah Winfrey.  There are not many paths to heaven, only one, Jesus Christ.  The God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob.  The God of the Jews.  Yes even Jesus is Jewish, born of a Jewish mother.

I am writing this to warn all of you of what is coming.  What is about to come upon you all.  Without accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior you are doomed to spend eternity (that means forever and ever) in Hell!  Yes I said…

HE LIFTS US UP: The Call… “Come Up Here!” (Revelation 4:1-2)

BEAUTIFUL POST! Listen to the LORD’S voice today,
God is calling each of us to “Come up here.. come up now, My beloved. He wants to heal and restore. He wants a relationship with us. He has so much more for all of us than we can see, than we can hear, than we can even imagine…”

COME UP HERE! Hear the call…

Revelation 4:1-2 (NKJV)

After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here,

The Faithful Man

A WONDERFUL TESTIMONY- about God’s love and street witnessing!

Karina's Thought

One night at a small church in Atlanta, Georgia, a man shared how he had become a Christian while in Sydney, Australia.

“I was at the street corner in Kings Cross,” the man began, “when I felt a tug on my sleeve. Turning, I found myself face to face with a street bum. Before I could say anything, the man simply asked me, ‘Mister, if you were to die tonight, where would you spend eternity?’ ” “That question troubled me over the next three weeks,” the man continued. “I had to find an answer, and I ended up giving my life to Christ.”

The pastor of the Atlanta church was amazed that a man on a street corner could have such an impact. But imagine his amazement when, three years later, another man came to his church and gave an almost identical testimony. He, too, had been at Kings Cross…
