A Peaceful Day in Hawaii and A Shaking

PEACEFUL DAY at Mokoli’i or Chinaman’s Hat on O’ahu, Hawaii.

A SHAKING took place yesterday afternoon before 2 p.m. At least a thousand or more people reported that they felt the 5.2 earthquake from the Big Island of Hawaii. My eldest daughter and I were startled with the shaking as many in the major Hawaiian chain who had experienced the earthquake, too. Earthquakes are plentiful here every day, but usually very minor.

It made me think about the SHAKING that is going on in these last days and the scripture verses from Hebrews 12:25-29.

See that ye refuse not him that speaketh.

For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:

Whose voice then SHOOK the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I SHAKE not the earth only but also heaven.

And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are SHAKEN, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be SHAKEN may remain.

Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

For our God is a consuming fire.

It is also a sobering fact that each of us must examine our hearts and relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our lives could be snuffed out in a moment like in the collapse of the condo in Florida. How many of those folks are now ‘present with the Lord’? If you are a Christian and trusting Christ alone for your salvation, the Bible says when you leave this life you go to heaven. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2Cor 5:8)

Could you say with me as in the song, ‘On Christ the Solid Rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand, all other ground is sinking sand’. LET US BE STEADFAST IN OUR FAITH AND TRUST IN GOD! LET NOTHING SHAKE OUR FAITH IN GOD!

God bless you all!

Liz’s Journal, 3-21-2020

Dear Friends,

Some of my journal writings are found elsewhere on this site, e.g. in ‘Journal Musings’ which I stopped posting in 2015. While I have been remiss in writing there, I journal regularly in my personal notebook. I thought to share with you what I wrote on December 31, 2019 and on March 17, 2020 this past week. When I wrote the first post below I knew nothing about the present corona virus that would become a world pandemic.

Regarding 2020 as written on 12–31-20.

This will be the year that many we are interceding for are going to be visited by God. It may be through trying situations or through their unsettledness of what they see going on in the world. Many will experience fears and anxieties. God knows just what it will take to bring people to their knees to see their need for God’s saving grace, healing power, and/or deliverance from the troubled times we will see that will shake up communities, society, the nation and the world.

There will be cataclysmic events upon the earth, roaring of oceans and whirlwinds; nature will go amok; wildlife and the entire animal world will behave out of their normal patterns or habits because of climatic disturbances and extreme weather, earthquakes and volcano eruptions will take place in unexpected places.

Evil and corruption will escalate with unbelievable scenarios, and the spirit of rebellion and immorality will be the order of the day as lawlessness increases.

In the church world, apostasy will continue with the churches being emptied out because of lukewarmness, worldliness and compromise as Satan sows his seed of destruction in lies and deception with false teachers and gospels designed for itching ears.

It will not be a year that we would like, but a foreboding one. It will bring in last minute converts for the time is short and the door is being closed. It is time to get serious doing the Lord’s work and drawing closer to Him, setting priorities in our lives for the days will get darker.

It is for the testing of man’s hearts.

For those in spiritual darkness that they will repent from their sins and turn to the Lord. For it is the last time. Soon the door will be closed and the seven days of years will begin. But God is ever merciful that none should perish.

For those who are lukewarm, the nominal Christian so that they will look at where they stand in their relationship with God.

For those who know their Lord and Savior that they will be ready for His Coming which will be very, very soon.

It will be as the plagues of Egypt with the last one being the death angel. We must be inside the house with the blood on our doorposts.

Many people don’t know how to handle the Covid-19 pandemic, so that makes it an excellent time to be a witness. There will be the fearful and the troubled and they will open their hearts to the Lord. When many die, especially the older ones and then children, people will turn to God. It will not be a revival, but Covid-19 will definitely test the hearts of mankind.
