NOT QUITTING, BUT HANGING IN THERE!
HURRAH!!!
YESTERDAY I REACHED 40,000 views!!!
IS THAT A BIG DEAL?! YES, FOR ME IT IS!
You see, I started ‘God’s Enduring Love’ on May 26, 2012. I didn’t know the first thing about blogging, but Word Press saw me through my ignorance and incompetencies and now my site has been up nearly 4 years since then. In the beginning what was really tough was being a relic from the pre-computer age, meaning being computer illiterate. Even till this day the learning is gradual, though I’m moving ahead slowly. Six months ago I was talked into getting an iPhone so family members can text me and in seconds I could text them back! So I am also learning how to use the computer features slowly, but surely, mainly with the help of Logan, my youngest grandson (12 y/o) who is proud to show off how smart he is for his Nana.
Logan has several years experience over me with computer education in school plus his gadgetry and computer games he’s grown up with. All 7 of the grandchildren can tell anyone about the latest upgrades and how to shop on iTunes and the App store. Of course what helped them is that as babies they were already playing games with the gamut of the mobile devices their little hands could get on. It is amazing that they just learned how to do stuff without knowing how to read yet. Even after they acquired reading skills, they still could figure out most anything on their computers without written instructions or a computer manual, a demonstration by a live tutor, etc.
Shortly after I started my ‘miracle’ blog, in June 2012 I helped my husband with his blog ‘God’s Hidden Nuggets for the Endtimes’ to post his many Bible lessons based on over 40 years of learning the Bible from the Holy Spirit. He has really serious teachings, current events relating to last days, etc. and zoomed ahead of me in viewership. He hasn’t posted anything new in months now and still has daily hits, doubling my daily averages. His last post is well read, ‘Warning- Hell is for Real. . .’ I feel happy for him that people are interested in his very provocative writings.
My original intent when I started blogging was to learn how to get a blogsite going for Drgold, my husband’s pen name. I hadn’t planned to continue mine, but just wanted to learn how to format a blogsite. However, curiosity got the best of me and I thought I would continue since I enjoy writing as much as Drgold, even though he is a better writer than me. To this date Drgold has over 65,000 views, and after a hiatus of 10 months, he will soon blog again!
I recalled what a WordPress editor said about blogging, that a 10,000 views minimum per year was a good indicator of a blog’s viability. This year would be the year to decide whether I would continue writing or have more time to pursue my other hobbies, art and music. So I thought. God has His own plans for my blogsite.
Anyway, this is the point I want to make. No one who drops in here to my site comes ‘by accident’. The sheer low numbers tell the story in themselves! It is ‘God’s Enduring Love‘ that draws anyone to a not so popular site with often unpopular topics, but written for those God has chosen to Himself for His plan and purpose for their lives. One will never know who reads my blog, whose life is touched by God. An example was a Hindu man with a photography blogsite who liked to read my posts. He died of a heart attack a year ago, a week after his last post, and somehow I believe that he reached out to God and God is with the Lord.
SO, I made 40,000 views one month before the 4 year deadline I had set for myself.
I want to THANK ALL OF YOU WHO READ MY BLOG POSTS, whoever you are, wherever you are, whatever reasons you have for visiting my blog, GOD KNOWS. God has touched the lives of folks from large countries to remote little islands all over the world. As I continue to write, my hope is to share God’s message of His Enduring Love for us all. Many have read ‘Why Do People Resist God.’ We can only hope and pray that the resisters will experience God’s love, be blessed with the gift of Salvation and have a better life than the one they now have.

JESUS- THE FAIREST OF 10,000
A week and a half ago I asked the Lord whether or not I should continue blogging. I had hoped that by the end of June, I would somehow reach 10,000 hits. It seemed like a big goal to strive toward gaining more VIEWERS from all over the world. I was short by 450 views at that time and needed much more than the average of 25 or so I was receiving daily. My husband Drgold said “Nothing is impossible with God if we pray and believe.” So he said let’s just pray that God, who told us to go fishing using the NET, the INTERNET, will help me reach 10,000 hits before the end of June, 10 days later! Right after praying, there was an unexplainable, sudden surge in the number of visitors, and even FOLLOWERS! God gave me a ‘definite sign’ to continue blogging- 10,000 hits! On June 23 at 8:00 a.m. HST-Hawaiian Standard Time, ‘God’s Enduring Love’ registered 10,000 views, with still a week left in June! Praise God for answering our prayer! So far we have visitors from 60% of the country’s listings in a reference source I am using! In just a few days SHOFAR’s other blog, Drgold’s ‘God’s Hidden Nuggests for the Endtimes’ will have its FIRST ANNIVERSARY. It was started on June 22, 2012, a month after my blog was launched. Together we now have over 23,737 views to date!
Those who have a calling as Watchmen know what I mean when I say that our days of exhorting with strong warnings to those outside of and inside the sheepfold are numbered. We cannot waste our words with the time we have left.
This is what the Apostle Paul said in Colossians 1:25-29:
Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles;
which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working which worketh in me mightily.
As Watchmen for Christ, we should not pick and choose just the palatable parts of the Bible to write, teach, or preach on. Believers need the whole gospel which includes the good, the bad, and the ugly. They need to hear not only about God’s Amazing Love, but also about the horrific judgments that are already here and are escalating everywhere in the world. Wars and rumours of wars, nations against nations, corruption of governments, evil and wickedness, violence filling the earth, cataclysmic and natural disasters, and so much more that you can read about from links on my TAB BAR. We are living in the last days, brethren. Without a doubt, we are experiencing the birth pangs of what must come to pass to usher in God’s millennial kingdom under the Lord Jesus Christ that is soon coming. God’s agenda supersedes any and all the plans any of the world leaders may have in mind. We have to “work while it is still day, for night cometh when no man can work.” (John 9:4)
Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men. (1 Thess 5:14)
Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. (Jude 11:21-23)
