The KJV is so hard to understand. Yet you have used it almost everyday in what you say.

I just came across this very interesting post.   My main study Bible is the King James Version which I believe is the PURE Word of God, POWERFUL and PROFOUND!  It is easy to be understood with the help of the Holy Spirit as one’s teacher!  I read ‘God Wrote Only One Bible’ published in 1955 by Jasper James Ray, a missionary. On the back cover a note said, “A Christian who desires to grow in sonship and unto the likeness of Christ must strive for an understanding of the Word in its completeness, simplicity and purity as found in the King James Version.” God’s Word is both simple and profound at the same time, but you won’t really know how true this is- unless you study it for yourself and discover its blessings for you!

2013 A Better Year Than 2012?!

How can 2013 be a better year than 2012?

When we put God first in our lives, things will always be better for us!  When we obey His Word, and do rightly, things will work out to our benefit.

All things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.  (Romans 8:28)

When we seek God’s kingdom and His righteousness, all the blessings of God will be added unto us! (Mt 6:33)

In 2013 let us “hope for the best and be diligent, and prepare for the worse.”  We can do that by seeking to have a closer relationship with God, growing our faith, getting to know Him better by giving serious time to studying the Bible and prayer.

I wrote about having a relationship with God and the importance of God’s Word in the first 3 chapters of my eBook, ‘Sounding the Shofar- Exhortations for the End Times’.  Please look over those chapters if you haven’t yet done so.  (See side bar ‘From Journal and Shofar eBook)

God promises many blessings to those who trust Him and obey Him, but we won’t know and experience His blessings if we don’t know what they are.  That is the reason why we have to search His Word to find those many blessings and claim them for our own.  When we know that God loves and cares for us, we can “hope for the best” by putting our trust in Him for our todays and tomorrows.  By persevering in prayer we can “be diligent and prepare for the worse” so that God will give us the strength we need when we need it,  and wisdom and knowledge to deal with our challenges, problems, burdens, and worries.  God will answer our prayers for help,  meet our needs, bless us, and protect us from harm and evil.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart;  and lean not unto your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”  (Proverbs 3: 5-6)

No one knows what 2013 has in store for us, but we can trust God to help us through another year.  He will help us to be strong, and not be fearful of what the future holds as we stick close to Him and remember His promises for us- that He loves us and will never leave us nor forsake us.  (Hebrews 13:8)

Our prayer for all of our SHOFAR readers is that you will know God’s love, His loving kindness and tender mercies, and have His Peace and Joy in your heart in this coming year!  GOD BLESS YOU!  HE LOVES YOU AND WE LOVE YOU, AND PRAY FOR YOU ALL!
