TODAY’S WORD FOR YOU, 3-7-16 Riding Out the Storm

Oil Painting by Liz ‘Riding Out the Storm’

Are you going through a storm in your life today?  This painting is based on a real life event of a fishing boat scrambling to return to the harbor.  A storm was moving in and the ocean was very rough with unusually large swells.  The boat made it back safely!

Here are Bible verses to assure you that Jesus is looking out for us.  He is our harbor light; He is our rock, our fortress and strong tower.

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.  (1 Peter 5:7 NIV)

For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.  (Psalms 61:3)

I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.  (Psa 91:2)
