6-5-14  DUSK AT BEACH PARK I just finished an acrylic painting of  Drgold  at Magic Island, Ala Moana Park in Honolulu HAWAII.  It is Drgold’s early Father’s Day gift.  We had dinner at the park and he had his ukulele so we sang:

From the rising of the sun, to the going down of the same,

the Lord’s name is to be praised.

Praise ye the LORD

Praise Him all ye servants of the LORD,

Praise the Name of the LORD,

Blessed be the Name of the LORD from this time forth,

Praise the name of the LORD.  (Psalm 113:3)

PLEASE GO TO ‘ART AND PHOTO GALLERY’ and read more about Drgold!

  1. i very much enjoyed the lack of clutter, the spaciousness of your composition. While there could have been boats, surfers kites, aircraft and other people, you chose the tranquility of one man, his instrument and his ocean.

    • Thank you for your comment. You’re very perceptive. I like your interpretation and would add ‘and at peace and in communion with his God.’
