WATER FOR THE THIRSTY

Mark Yasuhara could have been one of the greatest Metropolitan opera singers and was chosen twice to sing at the Congressional Prayer Breakfast in Washington D.C.  He sang as part of the gospel group ‘The Hawaiians’ quite a few years ago and serves God in the ministry today in Hawaii.

HO, EVERY ONE THAT IS THIRSTY!

“Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.”  (Isa 55:1-3)

“Let him that is thirsty come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”   (Rev 22:17)

Let him that is thirsty come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. (Rev 22:17)

STREAMS OF LIVING WATER

Jesus gives us living water so we will never thirst.

“The Lord is my shepherd. . .

He leads me beside the still waters. . .He restores my soul. .”

Whether you are going through a small heartache, a heavy burden, or a major crisis, God is with you.

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil:  for thou art with me;

 Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”   (Psalm 23:1-4)

Jesus said,

“If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.  He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”  (John 7:37-38)

“But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”  (John 4:14)

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”  (Mt 11:28)

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”  (Rev 3:20)
