The KJV is so hard to understand. Yet you have used it almost everyday in what you say.

I just came across this very interesting post.   My main study Bible is the King James Version which I believe is the PURE Word of God, POWERFUL and PROFOUND!  It is easy to be understood with the help of the Holy Spirit as one’s teacher!  I read ‘God Wrote Only One Bible’ published in 1955 by Jasper James Ray, a missionary. On the back cover a note said, “A Christian who desires to grow in sonship and unto the likeness of Christ must strive for an understanding of the Word in its completeness, simplicity and purity as found in the King James Version.” God’s Word is both simple and profound at the same time, but you won’t really know how true this is- unless you study it for yourself and discover its blessings for you!

  1. The Kjv 1611 has long been the anvil of truth; time tested and trusted, stedfast and sure, and which by the way HAS NO COPYRIGHT. Dare a man claim rights to He who breathed this living word which points to the living Word.

Good post and the phrases and words we are familiar with, the kjv is the bible which commits itself to memory in a way that no other version can. A man once said it is his book of choice, and all others are commentaries.
