WHY JESUS CAME- God so loved us!

WHY DID JESUS COME?

Jesus came because of God’s great love for us.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”   (John 3:16)

God wanted to be with us.

“Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”  (Mt 1:23)

Hallelujah!  EMMANUEL, GOD WITH US!

  1. Hello-

Indeed, HE came for many reasons: to glorify God in the midst of a world away from God; to confirm God’s promises to Israel; to extend grace to Gentiles, to testify to TRUTH, to show the WAY, to give His LIFE; but of the many things (which John said we could not write entirely) that the Lord did, I would like to point the obvious that many miss.

Christ did not come to make a bad person good………………but to make a dead man alive…………….God bless.

    • Thank you for sharing these truths, John! I hope to write more on WHY JESUS CAME over the next 2 weeks, just bite size pieces at a time. The Word of God is so profound, so deep, yet the message is meant to be a simple one that is often regarded as too complex to grasp. Yet its transforming power is unfathomable! God bless you!
