The Shaking of All Things Is Taking Place

“. . .see to it that you do not reject Him (Jesus) or refuse to listen to and heed Him Who is speaking [to you now].  For if they [the Israelites] did not escape when they refused to listen and heed Him Who warned and divinely instructed them [here] on earth [revealing with heavenly warnings His will], how much less shall we ESCAPE if we reject and turn our backs on Him Who cautions and admonishes [us] from heaven?

Then [at Mount Sinai] His voice shook the earth, but now He has given a promise:  Yet once more I will shake and make tremble not only the earth but also the [starry] heavens.

Now this expression, Yet once more, indicates the final removal and transformation of all [that can be] SHAKEN–that is, of that which has been created–in order that what cannot be shaken may remain and continue.”  Hebrews 12:25-27  (AMP)

“For thus says the LORD of hosts: Yet once more, in a little while, I will shake and make tremble the [starry] heavens, the earth, the sea, and the dry land;”   Haggai 2:6 (AMP)

My favorite beach no longer recognizable!

My favorite beach no longer recognizable!

Super typhoons, earthquakes, volcano eruptions, sinkholes;  high unemployment rate and homelessness, states legalizing homosexuality; rising seas and shore erosion, etc., etc.  What else is new?!

Governor Neil Abercrombie, his special task force on Hawaii economy, and equality rights supporters, among others, hope that many gay and lesbian couples will flock to Hawaii to be wed now that Hawaii has become the newest state to legalize same sex marriage.  The governor and majority of legislators believe that the economy may be given a happy boost and money will roll into the state.   If the extreme homelessness population doesn’t hit many in the face when they arrive in Blue Hawaii, then maybe tourists may find themselves somewhat disappointed by the shifting sands of the once beautiful world-renown Waikiki and other island beaches.

Shifting Sands And Beach Erosion

Kailua Beach is my favorite beach on the windward side of Oahu where I grew up.  We used to be able to walk from the sand out into the water, but now tree roots are exposed and you have to jump down an embankment to get to the ocean.   See VIDEO

Kuhio Beach, popularly known as Waikiki Beach has had severe sand erosion that washed away no sooner after being ‘refilled’ with sand.  See VIDEO  Oct 19, 2013  ‘Sand moved to cover Waikiki beach erosion swept away’

In ‘SHIFTING TIMES’ we need to remind ourselves of God’s promises:

God will never leave us nor forsake us.  (Heb 13:5)

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.”   (Prov 3:5-7)

  1. I am suppose to go there soon. Is this concern for me and what about the Fukushima and its radiation? I don’t want to be there and all off a sudden in goes under

    • Hi Joe, are you going on a vacation with your family? You need to do your homework well so you can know what to expect. We are a major city with freeways with lots of cars and people, unlike neighbor islands. Re Japan- many folks are concerned about radiation effects in the air, water and seafood in particular and won’t travel there. But some do not see any health or safety risks if they choose to visit places a distance from Fukushima. -Liz

      • JUst want to make sure we want to avoid. Sorry about the paranoia. Taking the family and want to avoid the ocean food and what else

      • It is not paranoia to be knowledgable and to do trip preparations. I can tell you about the conditions on O’ahu where the capital, Honolulu is located, but I would not travel anywhere near Japan where there is ongoing radiation contamination spewing out from the nuclear reactors into the ocean. The pollution is actually being spread in the atmosphere and across the Pacific, though some would downplay the serious ramifications that affects the rest of the world. Contaminated debris is washing up on the shores of our archipelago and reaching the U.S. west coast. Besides that there have been more earthquake activity there recently, like this past week.
