EXCELLENT TEACHING!

‘Sources of Ruin For Our Lives’:  Laziness in Child Rearing by Pastor Rob Barkman points out the importance of teaching and training our children in godliness.  Proverbs 22:6 states “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

  1. What God has done through Christ Jesus is made all men , women, and children, everybody born into this world sinners. There is no one who is not a sinner who has been born into this world except Jesus Christ, and if we are sinners we are in darkness and under the curse of the law of Moses. 1 John 3:4KJV, John 3:1-21, Romans chapters 3,4,5,6,7,8, The point is if we do not know the Father as Jesus knows the Father, we are not able to teach our children God’s way because we have not allowed the Father to chasetise us. If we have allowed the Father to chasetise us, than we are able to teach our children as God has taught us. Part of that teaching is to tell our children about spiritual warfare and how the devil works in our life through the Holy Ghost. If you do not tell your children about spiritual warfare, they will be raised bastards Hebrews 12:1-29.

    • Thanks for your comments, Robert! You are right that we must know the Word of God for ourselves so we can teach our children. This holds true for all who teach and preach behind pulpits, that unless they know their Bibles by being taught by the Holy Spirit, they will not be able to impart spiritual life to their hearers.

      • Mat 23:15 KJV
        (15) Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves (Here is the trouble. People have heard that Jesus died for them, but they have been taught to go out as soon as they got saved and tell other people. We are to wait on our ministry. Most people don’t even have the Holy Ghost with speaking in tongues. Mat 13:20-21 KJV
        (20) But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;
        (21) Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

  2. Luke 8, and Matthew 13 are people who have been taught that the power of God and the Holy Ghost are not for today. The condemnation against them is they “don’t believe” what God has said. If you do not speak in tongues you do not have the Holy GHost according to the book of Acts. 1 Corinthians 13,14, and 15.Luk 8:13 KJV
    (13) They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.

  3. Robert, is it possible that your last two comments are misplaced? I know somebody just recently wrote on the topic of speaking in tongues, but this thread of comments is on child rearing.
