GOD IS LOVE- Love One Another

God is LOVE; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us.

GOD IS LOVE; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment:

because as he is, so are we in this world.

THERE IS NO FEAR IN LOVE; BUT PERFECT LOVE CASTETH OUT FEAR:

BECAUSE FEAR HATH TORMENT.  He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

We love him, because he first loved us.

If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother

whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

And this commandment have we from him,

THAT HE WHO LOVETH GOD LOVE HIS BROTHER ALSO.

1 JOHN 4:15-21

  1. Thank you for citing the kjv 1611, the monarch of books, the anvil that has worn out many a hammer….

    • THANK YOU for making note of that fact! It is THE BEST STUDY BIBLE EVER whereby even the punctuation and word phrasing is revelatory. Every ‘jot and tittle’ is important to take note of. My grown son found this startling when I told him that God hides and reveals His Word in the old KJV.

      • Back atcha,
and thank u for looking at my stuff too,
please feel free to comment, as I am a newbie-

‘For ever O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.’ and the greatest of these is charity

now if we could only read hebrew, aramaic, greek! Since God’s words have been spoken in times past before the printing press and since the collection of the 66 books were not together until X date, I wonder what it was like to understand God’s words back “then”. Of course it was always complete and full of love and instructive yet, was not what read today–in volume, selection etc. I would think that my ancestors had amazing memories though–had to for survival…

    • Right, Wendell! They didn’t only have to understand what was taught them, repetition and memorization came into play since it was the only way they would learn God’s commandments. That’s why the scripture reads, “Faith comes by HEARING. . . Rom 10:17. Also read Ezra chapter 8, esp. vs. 7-8; Deut 6:3-9.
