David Prayed And Sang

Psalm 13  A Psalm of David:

How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD?  forever?  how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?

How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily?  how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?

Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;

Lest mine enemy say, I have pevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.

But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.

I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.

Psalm 83:1,4

Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God. . .

They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

Isaiah 41:10-12

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.

Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.

For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
